Caramel Apple Rum Protein Shake Using 310 Nutrition

Hey guys, tonight I was in the mood for something sweet.  It was really having a hard time resisting something not-so-good-for-me. So instead of indulging in something bad, I grabbed my 310 Nutrition Shake mix, a few awesome ingredients, and mixed up a sweet and good-for-me-shake.  And, boy did it stop those sugar cravings in their tracks.

That’s a good thing, right?

If you don’t have all of the ingredients, that’s OK.  I’ve also made this shake using an apple and cinnamon.  Just cut up one apple and add cinnamon to taste.  It’s really an easy shake to whip up in a hurry.

Sometimes after my granddaughter goes home after spending the weekend with us, I have leftover applesauce in the refrigerator.   It only makes sense to use up the applesauce in my shake for the evening meal.  Plus, I don’t have to cut up an apple so it saves a step too.

Caramel Apple Rum Protein Shake

12oz unsweetened almond coconut milk or almond milk

1/2 cup of cinnamon applesauce

2 tablespoons of ground flax seed

1 scoop of Salted Caramel 310 Nutrition Shake

1 cup of ice

dash of rum extract

I’ve also used the 310 Nutrition Vanilla Shake for this recipe, and it’s just as good.

Yum!  Just remember, an apple a day keeps the doctor away.  Or so they say.
